Publication Ethics

At Eurasia Specialized Veterinary Publication, ethics isn't a checkbox — it's the foundation everything else is built on. Our editorial practices are shaped by the standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and they reflect the best practices trusted across scholarly publishing worldwide.

Peer Review
Every manuscript we consider goes through a rigorous double-blind review — authors and reviewers never know each other's identities. It's a process built in layers, designed to protect quality, originality, and academic integrity at every stage.

Editorial Responsibility
Our editors handle each manuscript with fairness, discretion, and an eye trained only on the work itself. Decisions rest on merit, originality, and ethical soundness — nothing else. We hold our editors and reviewers to a clear standard: keep confidences, disclose conflicts of interest openly, steer clear of bias, and never draw personal advantage from work that isn't yet published.

Publishing Fees
We're upfront about costs, with fee details published clearly at the journal level. As an open access publisher, we draw a firm line between our finances and our editorial judgment — one never touches the other.

Copyright & Licensing
The work stays yours. Authors retain full copyright, and our publications are released open access under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license, unless stated otherwise.

Guarding Against Misconduct
Every submission passes through recognized plagiarism-screening tools, such as iThenticate. Where similarity is unacceptable or misconduct is evident, we act following COPE guidelines through to rejection or retraction, whichever the case demands.

A Shared Responsibility
Good publishing takes a village. Authors answer for the originality and integrity of their work. Editors answer for fair and impartial judgment. Reviewers answer for feedback that's honest, useful, and on time. And everyone, without exception, discloses their conflicts of interest.

When Something Needs Fixing
Science self-corrects, and so do we. Minor errors that don't undermine a study's validity are addressed through a correction. Confirmed misconduct or serious ethical breaches lead to retraction — always in step with COPE's guidance.

Human Subjects Research
Where research involves human participants, we hold the line firmly — full compliance with ICMJE recommendations and the Declaration of Helsinki, no exceptions.

Who We Are
Eurasia Specialized Veterinary Publication has operated as an independent scholarly publisher, with a centralized editorial structure, since 2020. You'll find us at:
Kazakh Scientific Research Veterinary Center, 223 Raiymbek Avenue, Almaty, Kazakhstan

Behind the scenes, our technical infrastructure runs on internationally trusted scholarly publishing platforms, with indexing, preservation, and post-publication support handled through established global academic networks — so the work we publish today is still findable decades from now.

Open, Truly
No subscriptions. No registration walls. Just research, freely available to anyone who wants to read it.

On Advertising
We keep our platforms free of third-party advertising, in journals and online alike.

Preserving the Record
We back up the journal website and all published content regularly, with everything mirrored in a secondary archive — a quiet but essential safeguard for the permanence of the scholarly record.

If You Have a Concern
Complaints and ethical concerns are never brushed aside. Our editorial office handles each one openly, guided by COPE and ICMJE standards.

About ESVPUB

Find out more

Since 2020, Eurasia Specialized Veterinary Publication has been dedicated to publishing rigorous scientific research in veterinary medicine, entomology, animal health, and related disciplines. Our journals offer a peer-reviewed home for original research, review articles, and short communications, spanning veterinary and clinical sciences, animal health and disease management, pathology, pharmacology, diagnostics, zoonotic diseases, epidemiology, and public health. Our entomology titles bring together work on insect biology, ecology and behavior, taxonomy and systematics, physiology, biodiversity and conservation, pest management, and medical and veterinary entomology. We also welcome interdisciplinary research that explores the connections between animal, human, insect, and environmental health — work that reflects the reality that these fields rarely stand apart from one another. In all that we publish, our aim remains the same: to support the exchange of meaningful, practical scientific knowledge within the international research community.
