What's Expected

1

Authorship

Everyone listed as an author should have made a real contribution — helping design the study, drafting or revising the manuscript, approving the final version, and standing behind the work.

2

Originality & ethics

Manuscripts must be original and not published or under review elsewhere. No plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, or manipulated images. We may run similarity checks, and we follow COPE guidelines.

3

Data integrity

Report your data honestly and completely. Keep your original data on hand in case it's requested, and let us know promptly if you spot a significant error after submission.

4

Ethics approval & consent

Research involving human participants, identifiable data, or animals must comply with applicable ethical standards and receive appropriate ethics approval where required. Authors must report the relevant ethics approval and consent information in the manuscript.

5

Conflicts of interest

Disclose anything — financial, personal, institutional — that could be seen to influence the research. If there's nothing to disclose, say so.

6

Funding

Tell us who funded the work and whether they played any role in the study's design, data, or the decision to publish.

7

Copyright & permissions

If you're using someone else's figures, tables, or images, get written permission first and confirm there's no IP conflict when you submit.

8

Use of AI

Any use of generative AI tools in preparing a manuscript must be disclosed by the authors. AI tools cannot be listed as authors or credited with authorship. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and final content of their manuscript, including any text, analysis, or other material generated or assisted by AI tools. The use of AI tools must not replace the authors' responsibility for the scientific content or editorial decisions of the manuscript, and must comply with the publisher's Generative AI Usage Policy.

9

Acknowledgements

Thank the people who helped but don't meet authorship criteria, along with any financial or institutional support.

10

After publication

If corrections, concerns, or a retraction come up down the line, we expect authors to work with us on it, per COPE guidance.

11

Agreeing to our policies

Submitting a manuscript means every author agrees to our editorial and ethical standards. Not meeting them can lead to rejection, correction, or retraction.

Since 2020, Eurasia Specialized Veterinary Publication has been dedicated to publishing rigorous scientific research in veterinary medicine, entomology, animal health, and related disciplines. Our journals offer a peer-reviewed home for original research, review articles, and short communications, spanning veterinary and clinical sciences, animal health and disease management, pathology, pharmacology, diagnostics, zoonotic diseases, epidemiology, and public health. Our entomology titles bring together work on insect biology, ecology and behavior, taxonomy and systematics, physiology, biodiversity and conservation, pest management, and medical and veterinary entomology. We also welcome interdisciplinary research that explores the connections between animal, human, insect, and environmental health — work that reflects the reality that these fields rarely stand apart from one another. In all that we publish, our aim remains the same: to support the exchange of meaningful, practical scientific knowledge within the international research community.
